May 25 — Pups and Pints — Scottsdale6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Round up your fuzzy four-legged friends and head to Two Brothers Tap House & Brewery this May for “Pups & Pints,” a dog-friendly event benefitting Lucky Paws Shelter.
Guests can enjoy a complimentary sample of Two Brothers’ Dog Days Dortmunder Lager while socializing with other passionate puppy patrons on the misted patio.
A representative from Lucky Paws Shelter will be on-site with several adoptable dogs and information about pet adoptions.
Anyone who adopts a dog during the event or begins the adoption process will receive a special gift from Two Brothers.
Additionally, patrons and their pooches can browse an assortment of treats and accessories from local specialty dog boutique, Dogs Etc.
Lastly, sit and stay a while and enjoy some award-winning Two Brothers fare. In celebration of this dog-centric event, the restaurant and brewery will be serving up loaded hot dogs for $8 each.

The City of Buckeye invites the community and their canine pals to take a hike at “Tails on Trails” in honor of National Trails Day.
Local dog lovers and nature enthusiasts can gather at this new pet-friendly event, hosted by the city’s Community Services Department.
It provides participants with a fun way to get out and about with their dogs for National Trails Day, an event sanctioned by the American Hiking Society. “Tails on Trails” will be hosted at the newest regional park in the valley, Skyline Regional Park, which has several nature trails visitors can explore.
It will take place early in the day to avoid the heat. In addition to hiking, this family and pet-friendly event will feature vendors and interactive activities, with light refreshments available.
Don’t forget to bring water for both you and your pet (who must be leashed).

Bring your dog to this fun event, on Courthouse Plaza in downtown Prescott. Features vendors; live music; dog obedience, agility, and K-9 Unit demonstrations; raffles; dog contests; kid activities; adoptable dog introductions.
The event is free, but a $20 people/pet ticket includes a handcrafted pet bowl, pet food samples, and BBQ lunch.

This is the largest and longest running pet adoption event in Northern Arizona.
Non-profit animal organizations and vendors from throughout northern Arizona participate in this one day adoption fair and community festival in the cool pines of Flagstaff, Arizona.

Paint your dog — in a good kind of way at this Phoenix/Paradise Valley location.
Here’s the scoop from Pinot’s Palette: Paint a portrait of your pet at Project Pet. Once you sign up for the painting, email us a high quality digital photo of your pet (one pet per canvas, please) and we will do the rest. Each photo will be transferred onto a 16”X20” canvas. Our talented artists will walk you through the steps to create your very own Pet Portrait!
Registration CLOSES the Tuesday before class (July 5th) at 10am. Please send your high resolution photo to: paradisevalley@pinotspalette.com by July 5th or reservations will be returned.

This is one of my favorite dog events in metro Phoenix — even though it is in summer!
Enjoy a fun filled early morning for you and your Best Furry Friend in Downtown Glendale! The event will be held in Murphy Park. Activities include demonstrations by the Glendale Police Department K9 Unit, free Frosty Paws, pet food & supply drive, low-cost immunization & micro-chipping, dog wash, watering stations and pet adoptions.

For each Dog Days of Summer game held at Chase Field, pets can enjoy concessions such as dog-friendly ice cream with toppings like kibble and other pet treats. As part of the Dog Days of Summer ticket package, pet parents will also receive a PetSmart “Doggie Bag,” complete with free items from PetSmart.
Dog Days of Summer ticket packages are available now for $160 and include a semi-private space with all the necessities for four people and one dog. Each table comes with access to All-You-Can-Eat hot dogs, soda, water, popcorn, peanuts, and chips. A minimum of 4 tickets must be purchased.
Directly behind the PetSmart Patio will be the PetSmart Park, an outdoor and indoor (air conditioned) dog park so even in the heat of the summer dogs can run around and play. The outdoor park will feature a baseball theme complete with a baseball diamond and a grassy outfield – perfect for dogs to explore, play ball with other dogs or find their perfect “spot” to go to the bathroom

Sept 10 — Barks and Brews — Flagstaff1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
The first annual Barks and Brews beer tasting and dog walk will take place on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 1pm – 5pm with 6 of Flagstaff’s local breweries in downtown Flagstaff – Lumberyard Brewing Company, Beaver Street Brewery, Historic Brewing Company, Dark Skies Brewing Company, Mother Road Brewing Company, and Wanderlust Brewing Company. Participants will receive a souvenir beer glass for 5oz tasting, passport and map of locations, and bandana for your dog. Tickets are $25 per person. Tickets available online only at http://www.secondchancecenter.org/barksandbrews.
Proceeds from Barks and Brews benefit Second Chance’s programs to save the lives of dogs and cats in our community.
