OHSO has a wonderful dog friendly patio. Cinco de mayo costume contests for humans and animals.

Join the D-backs and our canine companions at Chase Field for Bark at the Park on Sunday, May 6 against the World Series Champion Houston Astros! Be sure to come early to participate in the pre-game Puppy Parade on the warning track at Chase Field.

On behalf of Valley Dogs Inc., a non-profit, rescue organization, The Monastery Las Sendas Life magazine and Love All Pets – Pet Sitting and Care is hosting an event, Tails and Ales, on -Sunday, May 20th, from 1-5pm at The Monastery, a family and dog friendly restaurant and bar in Mesa.
Valley Dogs Rescue also runs the Vets and Their Pets program to help foster pets of our soldiers who are deployed overseas. The rescue will bring the dogs that have been abandoned or neglected to find their forever home that day. The Monastery has volleyball courts, horseshoe throwing area, pool table, grass and open patio seating. We will have a live band on an outside stage along with an outside bar with over 50 taps of craft, domestic, and import beers.
There will be dogs available for adoption to loving homes.

Dog Days of Summer ticket packages are available starting at $160 and include a semi-private space with all the necessities for four people and one dog. Each table comes with access to All-You-Can-Eat hot dogs, soda, water, popcorn, peanuts, and chips. Fans must purchase entire table.
Located along the main concourse behind the left-center field wall, the PetSmart Patio features a family-friendly atmosphere with multi-tiered seating that is perfect for groups of humans and canines of various sizes. As part of the Dog Days of Summer ticket package, pet parents will also receive a PetSmart “Doggie Bag,” complete with free items from PetSmart, valued at more than $100!
Directly behind the PetSmart Patio will be the PetSmart Park, an outdoor and indoor (air conditioned) dog park so even in the heat of the summer dogs can run around and play. The outdoor park will feature a baseball theme complete with a baseball diamond and a grassy outfield – perfect for dogs to explore, play ball with other dogs or find their perfect “spot” to go to the bathroom. July 28 — Rescue Roundup — Flagstaff9:00 am – 3:00 pm
The Rescue Roundup is the biggest event in Northern Arizona to educate the public about adopting animals from shelters and rescue organizations. Over 40 different rescues, shelters and vendors attended the 2014 Rescue Roundup. This event includes various demonstrations and canine activities that focus on alternative interests in canine involvement such as agility, disc dogs, and herding. Animal friendly and unique vendors also attend this venue to market and distribute their products.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their Furry Friends and enjoy coffee from Black Cat Coffee House or lunch from Short Leash Hot Dogs, as they visit numerous artist booths featuring a variety of animal-themed works of art. In addition, attendees and their Furry Friends will enjoy visiting and learning about animal-related businesses in the Arcadia area, many of whom will have treats! There will be paw readings and pet adoptions. There will also be animal art activities for kids, plus live music, a raffle, food and fun! Admission: $5 per person, $10 per family (Furry Friends are free!)
