Feb. 19 — People Saving Pets Walk9:00 am – 10:00 am
The People Saving Pets™ Walk is a festival to celebrate the compassion we have for pets! Your participation will raise money for local animal-welfare agencies that will help thousands of homeless pets throughout Arizona.
The event includes a pet adoption event, 5K and 1-mile walks (for humans and their four-legged companions), as well as fun activities for children, adults and pets

Feb 19 — Tails on Trails (Experienced)1:30 pm – 2:30 pm
Fit dogs are happier, healthier, and display fewer behavioral problems.
Tails on Trails will provide the opportunity to meet other dog hikers, learn safe hiking practices and dog trail etiquette. The fun, 3-mile hike along the Blevins Trail is great for experienced hiker dogs.
Please bring a short non-extendable leash, a small cleanup bag, and water for you and your dog. One dog per hiker, please. Note: A “Beginners Level” Dog Fitness Hike is also offered this month for those who feel they need the basics before advancing to this level. Location: Trail Staging Area.

Feb. 23 — Yappy Hour4:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Join the Animal Welfare League for a fun evening of socializing with your dog and fellow pet owners at the Montelucia Resort. Cost is $10, which includes a glass of wine for you, treats for your buddy and a $5 donation to the Animal Welfare League.

March 3– Bark for Life9:00 am – 1:00 pm
The 2012 Bark For Life of Southwest Valley, Arizona will be a fun-filled day with a relay, demonstrations, contests, games, and celebrations!
It is a non-competitive walk event in Goodyear for dogs and their owners to raise funds and awareness in the fight against cancer.
Bark For Life of Southwest Valley will include:
*A one mile walk
*Vendors
*Most Relay Spirit Contest

March 3 — Dogathon12:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Roket Pay presents the 3rd Annual Dogathon, the hippest dog social and charitable event set in the heart of Downtown, Scottsdale Arizona.
Centered on its Charity Parade™ people walk in costumes of all different Fashions and Breeds for the ASPCA as well as On-Site Adoption, Contests with Prizes, Dog Art and Food trucks. There will also be the largest DOGA session as well as dog training and concierge.

The Tempe event will take place at the Tempe Arts Park on March 4, 2012
700 N Rio Salado Pkwy Tempe, AZ
Walk or run a 5K or 1 mile course with your dog.
You can also opt to run or walk without a furry friend and go for either speed or dog-browsing fun on a fast and well-supported course.
Aid stations will be located approximately every mile on the 5k course.

March 12 — Mahalo Monday11:00 am – 11:45 pm
Mahalo Mondays at Hula’s Modern Tiki supports Friends of Animal Care & Control.
Each Monday in March, Friends of Animal Care & Control will receive 10% of the day’s gross proceeds.
Money raised through March’s Mahalo Mondays program will help decrease the number of homeless animals in Maricopa County by funding free spay and neuter services through Maricopa County Animal Care & Control’s Spay Neuter Assistance Program.

In order to participate in Bring Your Dog to the Ball Park, a registration form must be completed in advance through the mail or by fax.
