PACC911 & Paws Around the Fountain Adopt-A-Thon 10am – 3pm 12925 N Saguaro Blvd, Fountain Hills.
More than 50 animal rescue organizations will have pets available for adoption, including purebred and mixed-breed dogs and puppies, cats and kittens. All pets will be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Great fun for socialized beagles (and honorary beagles) on leashes and their people. All proceeds go to the rescue, medical care, and placement of beagles in need.
Activities include:
- Contests, games, and an alumni parade
- Exhibitors and demonstrations
- Food vendors
- Raffle drawings and a silent auction
- Children’s activities
- Pet services (nail trims, canine massage, pet psychic, etc.)

Usery Mountain Regional Park
Fit dogs are happier, healthier, and display fewer behavioral problems. Tails on Trails will provide the opportunity to meet other dog hikers, learn safe hiking practices and dog trail etiquette. The fun, 1-mile hike along the level Merkle Trail is great for beginner hiker dogs. Please bring a short non-extendable leash, a small cleanup bag, and water for you and your dog. One dog per hiker, please. After completing this hike, you and your dog will be ready for our “Experienced Level” Dog Fitness Hike! Location: Area 6.Date: 4/1/2012

April 16 — Movie Night6:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Urban Beans is serving up dinner and flick with your dog. They will be screening “Best in Show” on their patio, beginning at twilight. They stage this free event every third Monday right there in central Phoenix.
The fabulous Short Leash Hot Dogs will also be on hand. Great movie, dogs allowed, terrific food — what more can you ask for?

April 17 — Yappy Hour6:00 pm – 7:00 pmMark your event calendar: Yappy Hour @ 6pm on the Patio at the Adobe Restaurant. There will be a happy hour drinks and food menu for the humans and the dogs!Then at 7:00 there is an optional class where you can lead your pup into some fun stretches & learn the t-touch K9 massage led by Yoga Instructor Dena Zell. Paws in the Park will be a fun-filled day with giveaways, items for sale and an opportunity to network and meet other dog enthusiasts!
It’s being held at Scottsdale’s off-leash dog park Chaparral Park.
This year Paws in the Park will be helping out The P.E.T. (Pets Eat Too) Pantry serves as a supportive program of the Vista del Camino Food Bank and provides pet food to families in need. In an effort to stock the P.E.T. Pantry, we’re asking “Paws in the Park” attendees to bring a pet food donation.

Brimg your pet to the Phoenix Pet Expo event and meet Shorty Rossi, star of “Pit Boss” on Animal Planet! Saturday, April 28, 2012, from 10AM to 6PM, INDOORS at University of Phoenix Stadium with FREE admission and FREE Parking!
There will be agility, obediance training, gifts, talent contest, immunization and microchipping. It’s one of the largest dog events in metro Phoenix this year!
